What is Police Here?

Police Here is a personal safety app project for iPhone and Android, with English and Portuguese interfaces. It aims to bring together emergency contacts, access to the police dialer and consent-based location sharing.

In development: apps not yet released; login and alerts unavailable on this website.

Current availability

The public website is available. The apps have not been released on the App Store or Google Play, and no launch date is confirmed. You can explore the web interface, but login, registration and sending alerts are not active in this publication.

Who it is for

People who want to organize a trusted-contact network and control when they share their location. It is not a covert surveillance tool or a 24-hour monitoring or rescue service.

Project features

The emergency flow includes a cancellable countdown, opening the dialer with confirmation and separately requesting alerts. SMS, email and WhatsApp require configured services and consent; Instagram requires manual sharing.

Each contact has a private link valid until removal. The link does not grant unrestricted access: outside an emergency, location requires approval or prior per-contact no-response permission.

Custom phrases can activate the flow while the app is open and speech recognition is permitted. Police Here does not record audio; the operating system speech provider may process it.

What Police Here does not do

It does not make silent calls, speak your address to police or guarantee alert delivery. It cannot determine whether a phone is switched off. The last position may be outdated; always check its time and accuracy.

This publication has no operational integration with police dispatch centers, Telnyx or Sinesp. Police Here is not a public agency and does not claim police affiliation. In a real emergency, contact your local emergency service directly.
